With design at the forefront of their practice and a strong clientele across various project sectors, our client is looking to take on an experienced Project Architect. Projects are anticipated to develop through the RIBA Work Stages 1 - 7, providing challenges of many sizes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include client liaison and reporting, with opportunities for architects to move up into senior positions in the coming years, making it a great opening for those looking to elevate their careers.

Key Responsibilities
At a glance:
1. Overall aspects of project design.
2. Contract Administration including financial control in coordination with QS and certification under guidance of team leaders.
3. Brief taking and documentation.
4. Design team coordination.
5. Chairing and documenting design team meetings.
6. Attendance at (and running of where necessary) site meetings.
7. Assisting senior team members in the preparation of project programmes.
8. Project runner and design team coordinator focusing on a single primary project.
9. Client liaison on small commissions under guidance of team leader.
10. Representing the practice externally through client and consultant liaison.
11. Mentoring less experienced staff members.
12. Developing project and team leadership roles within the practice.
13. Developing design approach and bringing experience to the realization of design concepts.
14. Key role in the development of design proposals from inception to completion.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Current registration with the ARB as an Architect.
2. Strong portfolio showcasing creative design and graphic skills.
3. Exceptional communication skills for effective teamwork.
4. Confidence in correspondence with clients and stakeholders.
5. Efficient problem-solving skills.
6. Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD, and Revit for rendering and visualization.
7. Proficiency with SketchUp is useful but not required.
8. Good drawing, design, and presentation skills.
9. Good communication and organizational skills.
10. Knowledge of UK Planning Policy and Building Regulations is essential.
11. Outstanding time management, with the ability to handle workload around tight deadlines.
12. Willingness to learn and share knowledge, with a passion for career progression.
