Longspee Secondary is a Specialist Provision for Autistic young people with SEMH needs. As the Class Teacher and English Lead you would be expected to lead the learning of a class-team (pupils and staff). You will possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and be committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for vulnerable learners. You will be highly skilled, creative and passionate in your teaching, and possess a track record of improving outcomes for young people. You will preferably have an understanding and experience of working with young people with additional needs including childhood trauma, alongside SEMH and ASC.
