Accounts Team Manager
Location: Skipton
Part-time, 3 days per week 9am - 5pm (flexible)

Rapid Recruit are on the lookout for an Accounts Team Manager on behalf of our client based in Skipton. This role is a Fixed Term Contract for 9 months with the potential for the role to be made permanent. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounts team, maintaining precise financial records and offering support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and supervise the accounts team, ensuring high performance and adherence to company policies.
2. Oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
4. Provide strategic financial analysis and reporting to senior management.
5. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Proven experience as an Accounts Team Manager or in a similar role within an accounts department.
2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
3. Proficiency in accounting software (Sage 200 and Sage Payroll) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
5. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
