Project Control & Scheduler required for a computing systems provider for space satelitles and telecommunications based in Guildford. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with advanced scheduling capabilities, proven experience in PMO development, and a deep understanding of project management processes.
Project Control & Scheduler Job Overview
Develop and maintain a comprehensive Project Management Office (PMO) framework
Collaborate with teams to ensure consistency in project execution and alignment with strategic goals
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of deadlines
Communicate schedule updates to stakeholders regularly and escalate critical path issues
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Project Control & Scheduler Job Requirements
Experience in developing and leading a PMO in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of PMO frameworks and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
Ability to handle multiple projects with interdependencies and deliver within tight timelines.
Experience in managing project risks, budgets, and resource allocations
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) would be an advantage.
Project Control & Scheduler Salary & Benefits
Salary: £60,000- £80,000 (dependent on skillset and experience)
Matching pension contributions up to a maximum of 5% per month.
Holiday entitlement - 34 days (including bank holiday)
Working hours - 9.00am to 5.30pm on Mondays to Fridays
