Your Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Mentorship : Work closely with the Nursery Manager to effectively guide, motivate, and mentor the wider teamensuring a positive, collaborative environment.
Regulatory Excellence : Collaborate with the Nursery Manager and Early Years professionals to meet and surpass Ofsted requirements, championing continuous improvement.
High-Quality Care : Deliver a safe, enriching, and dynamic environment that promotes each childs development.
Compliance & Best Practice : Assist in fulfilling all legal and statutory duties, including health and safety protocols.
Strategic Goal-Setting : Contribute to setting and monitoring short- and long-term nursery objectives, driving performance in line with our mission.
Parent Partnerships : Communicate effectively with parents, recognizing their importance as partners in each childs learning journey.
Safeguarding & Well-Being : Maintain rigorous standards to protect every child and team member, ensuring the nursery is a secure and supportive space.
What Were Looking For
Early Years Experience : At least 3 years in an Early Years setting, coupled with a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification.
Regulatory Know-How : Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted statutory guidance.
Team-Building Skills : Proven experience in inspiring a team to deliver top-tier learning opportunities and professional development.
Safeguarding Proficiency : Thorough knowledge of child protection, health and safety, equal opportunities, and SEN/Inclusion, with the ability to lead and mentor staff in these areas.
Collaborative Mindset : Excellent communication and organizational skills to drive continuous improvement through teamwork.
