Required to start ideally after February half-term or as soon as possible thereafter, we are looking to recruit an Assistant Head (Pastoral) to join the team at Crackley Hall, a high achieving, thriving and happy Catholic school of 300 pupils aged 2 to 11 years.
The Assistant Head (Pastoral) will be an inspiring, emotionally intelligent and approachable senior leader who is naturally passionate about ensuring the best possible pastoral care for the pupils of our school and will make a significant contribution to the wellbeing of the extended school community, including staff. They will work alongside other members of the Senior Leadership Team to lead, guide and manage Crackley Hall School.
The Assistant Head (Pastoral) is the Designated Safeguarding Lead and has primary responsibility for the provision of pastoral care within the school and will be responsible for the strategic overview and leadership of our pastoral provision.
As a key member of the leadership team, they will bring staff on the journey with them to achieve outstanding procedures and outcomes in these areas. The post requires them to promote the smooth running of the School, maintaining the ethos of a caring Christian school family with a Catholic school base.
This is a full-time leadership role in a busy and thriving school; as such the Assistant Head (Pastoral) must be prepared to work beyond the normal hours of the school day where necessary.
Salary: The salary is by negotiation and the role will be on the Princethorpe Foundation leadership salary scale, depending on qualifications and relevant experience. The Princethorpe Foundation salary scale is associated with, but above, national scales.
