We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Production Manager to join our manufacturing team in Grangemouth. This is your chance to lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team in a dynamic, challenging environment at a leading upper-tier COMAH site. You will control and elevate operational excellence to new heights. Responsibilities include:
1. Ensure full compliance with maintenance plans to deliver required asset effectiveness.
2. Manage production operations costs – fixed, variable, and raw material – within target levels, and develop and implement cost efficiency improvement plans.
3. Investigate incidents and performance issues, and develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure targeted improvement.
4. Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary production team, providing guidance and support to achieve team and organizational goals.
5. Manage change/transformation, being part of an ambitious strategy focused on our team, our ways of working, and future site development.
6. Achieve production targets through strategic planning, resource optimization, prioritization, and decisive decision-making.
7. Continuously monitor and enhance EHS standards, providing technical support per Syngenta protocols.
8. Facilitate clear and timely cross-departmental communications.
9. Swiftly escalate critical issues for immediate resolution.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in manufacturing and production in relevant sectors such as chemical, food/beverages, or energy.
* Proven leadership in a manufacturing environment, with experience in organizational development and change management.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members at all levels.
* Proficiency in IT and familiarity with various software applications.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with demonstrated leadership qualities.
* Experience with automation or software-driven plant operations is beneficial.
