Pertemps are supporting a local client who are seeking to appoint a Permanent Plumbing and Heatoing Tutor Assessor to deliver knowledge and conduct work-based assessments for apprentices in the Plumbing & Domestic Heating Apprenticeship program.
This role involves supporting apprentices to meet their course requirements, including End Point Assessment, through both group and individual sessions. The Tutor Assessor will be the primary contact for apprentices and employers, ensuring timely progress and successful completion of assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and assess underpinning knowledge and practical skills.
Conduct formative and summative assessments, including internal verification.
Organize, oversee, and mark written assessments with detailed feedback.
Provide tutorial support and complete Learning Plans and Progress Reviews.
Ensure accurate recording of start and end dates for apprentices.
Assist in recruitment, induction, and assessment of learners.
Conduct Health & Safety risk assessments for placements.
Liaise with managers and quality assurance coordinators on learner progress.
Develop learning materials and engage in continuous professional development.
Maintain accurate records of learner achievements and progress.
Build and maintain relationships with employers to support apprentices and generate new business opportunities.
Attend necessary meetings and events at the College.
