About the Role
You will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manufacturing Controller Journals (SMJC) with administrative tasks relating to the fast-paced manufacturing operation of print journals. This is an important role to ensure that systems are fully up to date with accurate information for stakeholders and vendors across the Journals business.
You will need to build a broad understanding of the various systems and how they interrelate, for which there will be a full training program. An important aspect of this position is the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, but there will also be supporting tasks relating to projects which focus on introducing efficiencies and changes as the journal business evolves.
Duties will include:
* Process journal invoices in the SAP ERP system.
* Update journal systems with manufacturing and dispatch data.
* Assist the SMCJ with the manufacturing ordering process.
* Assist the SMCJ with the retrieval of data for journal financial information.
* Assist the SMCJ with information relating to stakeholder queries on manufacturing areas.
* Provide cover for the SMCJ during times of annual leave.
* Coordinate with the SMCJ to monitor and provide reporting for the Journals POD program.
* Work with Inventory on journal reprint tasks.
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
