A well-established organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Key Responsibilities: Provide financial and management accounting support across a range of services. Prepare revenue budgets, monitor financial performance, forecast outcomes, and support the closure of accounts. Deliver expert financial advice to service managers on procedures, systems, and implications of key decisions. Partner with service teams on financial investigations, analysis, and projects to ensure efficient resource use. Support external funding applications and contribute to business cases. Proactively challenge existing budget assumptions to drive improvements. Promote a culture of financial accountability and value for money through evidence-based reporting and benchmarking. Ensure the accurate and timely completion of statutory financial returns and corporate reporting obligations. Key Requirements: Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner role. Ideally has a background in the public sector or similar complex environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Strong knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools. Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in financial modelling and Microsoft Office applications.
