We are looking for an expereienced Training & Performance Office Coordinator to join our team at Wincanton, based at our Blackburn site on the BAE Air contract. Reporting to our Team Manager, you will ensure training is planned, delivered, and maintained. Being innovative to make sure all key performances are identified and met and be able to lead the teams. Flexibility is required for this role to support back/night shift when needed.
Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain Security Clearance including 5 years employment & residential.

Day to Day
* Manage and plan all training requirements for the team across the BAE Air contract
* Deliver training & induction to all new starters
* Schedule and deliver MHE, SOP, SSOW training including refreshers
* With support from the admin team, manage all arrangements for training sessions on site
* Identify training gaps and opportunities
* Identify and support with the delivery of continuous improvement activities
* Manage all costs, making sure they are within budgets planned
* Support management with individuals or team poor performances, identifying root causes and improvement activities
* Carry out audits and surveillance tasks to ensure training and guidance is being followed correctly and performance levels achieved
* Manage and monitor the skills matrix taking action with regards to security arrangements / access if any mandatory training lapses
* Ensure a proactive approach to Health & Safety via risk assessment and by ensuring that warehouse team members comply with Health and Safety policies

* Experience with training others and delivering training materials
* Experience with auditing/ surveillance activities
* Self starter capable of managing their own time and working from their own initiative
* Highly organised, capable of planning and adjusting training plans and schedules
* Be proactive to resolve issues and challenges
* Flexibility required regarding shift patterns - Support required for Back shift & Nights
* Excellent communications skills
* PC literate and numerate including a good understanding of Microsoft Office applications
