**Job Title:** Youth Welfare Officer
**About Us:**
Longdon Hall School is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 7 to 18, catering for pupils with a wide range of social, emotional, and mental health needs.
**Job Purpose:**
To manage pupils' behaviour, delivering high-quality care and support for students. The role requires working in close collaboration with the Pastoral managers and behaviour and welfare lead to maintain a consistent approach and service delivery to the pupils.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Manage pupils' behaviour and deliver high-quality care and support for students
* Work in close collaboration with the Pastoral managers and behaviour and welfare lead
* Practice with a high degree of competence to reduce barriers to education and independent social interaction
* Coordinate services in school to provide integrated provision for pupils
**Requirements:**
For this role, you will need to have experience in supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs. You should be able to work collaboratively as part of a team and have excellent communication skills.
