Job Description:
We’re looking for an Associate Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Breast Care team at The Wilmslow Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK. As an associate clinical nurse specialist, you will provide holistic and evidence-based care to patients in the breast cancer pathway, working alongside a multi-disciplinary team to provide leadership and clinical expertise. This role will require the post holder to work autonomously in applying knowledge to oversee and coordinate patient care as well as personalise the patient pathway. As a patient advocate, effective communication skills and the ability to work within a team are essential skills for this role. The post holder will also participate in driving health promotion, service development, and staff mentorship and education.
What you’ll bring:
* NMC registered Nurse
* Post-basic qualification in oncology +/- breast cancer care or willing to train
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Level 2 psychological skills training as per recognised course or working towards
* Experience of teaching
