SEN Teaching Assistant BS11 1 to 1 work Full-TIme September start Are you someone with experience working with children with SEND? A Primary School in the BS11 area of North Bristol are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support a Year 1 Child who has SEMH and Speech and Language needs. You will be joining a school who are dedicated to achieving consistently high standards of support, which has resulted in a driven approach to education and an improvement in primary results. The Role This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible until Christmas. As a successful candidate, you must bring a calm and patient learning environment, where you can build a strong relationship quickly with the individual pupil. Working closely with the Class Teacher, you should adapt activities and assess development to communicate progression. You will be expected to: Have high expectations for the individual to succeed. Have experience working with SEND children. Work closely with the SENDCo to understand the child’s needs. Create a stimulating and purposeful environment Manage and Support with the child’s needs. Assess and communicate the individuals’ successes and developments. Working with Long-term Teachers: We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.
