Opportunities are available for enthusiastic, motivated nursing assistants to join our Out Patient Nursing Team. The posts available are for various hours on permanent contracts and are based at Hexham General Hospital with an agreement that you may be required to work in other areas of the Trust.
Full and Part time hours will be considered.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Nursing Healthcare Team to deliver out patient services to a wide range of specialities.
You should have excellent communication skills when dealing with patients and colleagues to ensure quality care is provided to patients in a timely fashion.
Previous Out patient experience desirable but not essential as we have a comprehensive training package and will provide a supportive learning environment, encouraging you with your own personal development. Experience in hospital setting essential.
• Supporting the nurses in clinic management
• Phlebotomy
• Working across multiple services delivering out patient care with shift patterns supporting 7 day service

• To assist the qualified nursing staff in the delivery of high quality direct and in direct patient care.
