The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer to support the Sizewell C Nuclear new build project.
In this role you will be the primary point of contact responsible for managing all project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
The role will see you working in Central London 3 days per week, but will be Hybrid based on project delivery.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
* As a Project Engineer you will support the Sizewell C Nuclear Support Agreement acting as the Technical Lead to ensure all deliverables meet project requirements. The Nuclear Support Agreement (NSA) is a framework for delivering technical and engineering support for the Sizewell C project. It focuses on ensuring contractual alignment, managing technical deliverables, and maintaining high standards across the project's lifecycle.
* You will help design and implement streamlined processes working to replicate best practices and maintain consistency.
* Another focus of this role involves providing technical guidance on NSA implementation.
* You’ll also assist with key project decisions and manage technical documentation to ensure accurate application across all teams. Additionally, you’ll evaluate project work requests, support informed decision-making, and deliver targeted training to upskill project teams.
You will have the following qualifications & experience
* Should ideally possess a Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field, although plenty of relevant experience may be considered.
* You will need to demonstrate of having had hands-on expertise as a Project Engineer / Project Manager within a regulated environment.
* A background in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Systems, or Civil Engineering, ideally within large industrial projects is required, better still experience gained in Transmission and Distribution or for the National Grid / Nuclear industry would be ideal.
* You will have demonstrated experience in Project Management, Contract Management, and multi-disciplinary coordination.
* You should have outstanding communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
* A solid understanding of the complexities of major projects, particularly in interface management across different scope areas is needed here.
* It is imperative that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with clients, contractors, and diverse stakeholders.
* A professional mind-set with a focus on accuracy, resilience, teamwork, and delivering results under pressure is needed.

* Professional qualifications like PMP or Prince2 would be a bonus.
