We are looking for Senior Practitioners to work within Gainsborough Urgent Treatment Centre, delivering face-to-face consultations.
We are seeking dynamic individuals with minor illness and minor injury skills that will complement the existing team of Senior and Urgent Care Practitioners, ACPS, and HCSWs.
Please note this position will not commence before April 2025.
Main Duties of the Job
Main duties will include delivering a 12-hour, 7-day week service to the Gainsborough community. The minor injury service will include seeing, treating, and managing simple fractures and wound closures.
Responsibilities include seeing, treating, managing, discharging, and/or referring patients of all age ranges to other LCHS services or partner services across Lincolnshire.
On occasion, you may be required to support other UTCs such as Lincoln.

Job Responsibilities
Manage patients across all age ranges with minor injuries and minor illnesses.
Utilize PGDS/medication appropriately.
Collaborate with ACPs, Trainee ACPs, Urgent Care Practitioners, HCSWs, and receptionists.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered Health Care Professional holding current registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
* Evidence of working to PGDs with advanced knowledge (AHPs).
* Safeguarding-level 3 or willingness to undertake.
* Minor Injuries level 6/7 or very relevant experience.
* Minor Illness level 6 or relevant experience.
Previous Experience
* Evidence of recent and ongoing personal development, including leadership development.
* 2 years post-registration experience in relevant urgent or emergency care settings.
* X-ray interpretation.
* Wound closure, suturing.
Skills
* Evidence of multi-agency and professional working.
* Basic IT/keyboard skills.
* Use of System One electronic records.
