Job Description:
Aon’s UK Retail business is currently recruiting a Client Service Advisor to join our Insolvency & Restructuring team. Preferably based in Birmingham, where you will work with a hybrid approach and will support a busy, growing team supporting Insolvency Practitioners and Receivers.

What the day will look like:
1. Prepare and onboard new clients
2. Responsibility for a busy caseload, managing different insurance risks for Insolvency Practitioners
3. Work within agreed parameters of a Delegated Underwriting Authority ensuring the correct covers are in place and referring to the underwriter when required
4. Completing renewals of risks in a timely manner and within the agreed compliant process
5. Identify each client’s service requirements and support the service team to ensure service exceeds agreed standards
6. Work closely with the Client Directors to achieve an exceptional level of client service
7. Drive the highest level of service to each client, within area of responsibility
8. Build and maintain a good understanding of each client’s business
9. Build and maintain a good understanding of the Insolvency industry
10. Manage client expectations, keeping them informed of progress and communicating with them as appropriate, and taking appropriate and timely action to identify and correct problems
11. Maintain client files in accordance with agreed procedures, keeping records complete, accurate and up to date

13. Ensure that each client’s risks are identified, and appropriate risk and insurance solutions are provided
14. Ensure all agreed practices and tools are actively and consistently applied whilst all regulatory requirements and business processes are maintained
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
1. Insurance experience required, ideally gained at an insurance broker
2. High level of FCA Principle and Procedures
3. Good level of technical knowledge, especially in the major and pecuniary classes, Property / Casualty and Combined
4. Organised, with the ability to prioritise work, delivering accurately and on time
5. Acturis experience is preferred but not essential
6. Be able to work in a fast-paced and often demanding but rewarding environment to deadlines
