This is an exciting opportunity to join our multi-disciplinary team as a skilled Occupational Therapist, specializing in working with individuals with neurodiversity, complex trauma, and developmental needs. You will be part of a well-established organization committed to providing high-quality education and care for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to progress the OT-specific therapeutic services at Waterloo Lodge School in Chorley and Oakfield House School in Preston. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sensory integration training, preferably at level 3, and experience in working with adults and/or children who have intellectual disabilities and/or autism with additional needs.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for supporting individuals with complex needs. Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver occupational therapy services to meet the needs of individuals with varying levels of functioning, including those with autism and associated needs such as complex trauma.
">
* Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement therapeutic services that cater to individual needs.
">
* Collect and analyze data to inform service delivery, development, and project work.
">
* Promote the OT-specific therapeutic services, developing strategic plans to enhance the service's reputation and impact.
">

Requirements:
">

* Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification
">
* Sensory Integration training, preferably a minimum of level 3
">
* Experience of working with adults and/or children who have an intellectual disability and/or autism with additional needs (e.g., complex trauma, mental health needs, behaviors of concern)
">
* Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
">
* Substantial and relevant post-qualification experience with adults
">
* Experience of lecturing/teaching/training
">
* Full valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle
">
* Skills in data management and analysis
">
* Certified DBS check and social media checks
">
