The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism, challenging needs and learning disabilities. These pupils need extra support during lessons and may require assistance with personal care, so you must be willing to support with this area of the role. About this role: SEN school in Wolverhampton Full time Monday – Friday (8:30am to 3:30pm) Key responsibilities Supporting teaching staff in the delivery of lessons Providing one to one support to students who require additional help Delivering small group sessions Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff Requirements: Passion for working with young children and making a positive impact in their education Strong interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and as a part of a team Patience, empathy and, ability to build strong rapport with pupils Experience working with SEN (desirable) An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one If you would like to apply for this role, please send a copy of your updated CV.
