The main function is to provide policy analysis and development in health and social care, with a particular focus on primary care; provide business management support for key engagement structures and support Chief Officers and the wider HSCS network in influencing national policy. Working in a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will be required to have an understanding of health and social care policy and integration in Scotland; be highly organised; a skilled communicator and be experienced in collaborative working with a range of stakeholders. The post will involve close working with Scottish Government. Applicants must be educated to degree level or equivalent and meet the essential core skills, knowledge and competencies for this post. The successful candidate will be expected to work with minimal supervision, exercising initiative and proven skills in liaising, organising and influencing.
