Job Description Finance Analyst - Civil Aerospace Engineering Technology & Safety Full time Derby What you will be doing An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst - Civil Engineering Technology & Safety to join our team in Derby. You will sit within the team for Civil Aerospace Engineering Technology & Safety which is responsible for delivering engineering solutions for our incredible Civil Aerospace portfolio. We invest over £1bn per year in engineering, focused on developing technologies, delivering product modifications to meet the needs of our customers and to enable us to make money from our engines. In particular you will have the opportunity to work in the finance team which supports engineering and investment, providing management accounting support to our Civil Product Development business, supporting the Financial Controllers with central Engineering and programme engineering tasks. You will work closely with the Engineering and Programme Management teams across Civil Aerospace. Responsibilities As a member of the finance team, you will: AP'ly actuals reporting and compliance including reviewing Engineering headcount, spend, and recoveries and analysis of internal and external spend. Support Engineering activities in Civil for value for money assessments and co-ordination of PrimaVera P6 inputs into the budget/forecasting process, working with Engineering to agree timetables, and requirements. Gain a good understanding of the key drivers, issues and targets in Civil Aerospace Engineering and beyond.
