Job Title: Payroll Manager Location: Shrewsbury Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Top of the salary range will be offered to an experienced Payroll Manager that has implemented a new system and is involved with Payroll analysis. We are currently recruiting for a valued Reed client based in Shrewsbury. We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join the team and put their stamp on payroll processes This is a brilliant opportunity for a candidate that is looking for a challenge and the autonomy to make positive change whilst being completely supported by management We are looking for a friendly and approachable character that will stay with the business long term. Responsibilities Will Include: Manage full employee payroll and operational pension services, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and reconciliation across multiple payrolls. Manage statutory returns, gender pay reporting, and apprenticeship levy submissions. Monitor staffing budgets, report on costs and completing analysis to support toward cost saving Mentor a Payroll Administrator, who is currently studying towards their CIPP. Ideally, You Will: Have an in-depth knowledge of Payroll, keeping up to date with legislations and a focus on maintaining GDPR and data protection principles. Ideally you will be CIPP Qualified or close to finishing. Have experience in implementing a new payroll system as this will be on the agenda when you’re settled in the role Be an excellent communicator as you will be liaising with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
