Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Pay Scale: Grade 5, point 15. (Actual Salary £24,913.74 - £27,963.20) Hours: Permanent, full time Closing Date: 9am on Friday 29th November 2024 Interview Date: Thursday 5th December 2024 We are looking to recruit a skilled level 5 teaching assistant to provide highly effective, positive learning experiences for children with complex communication needs. The successful applicant will work under the direction of the SENCo, supporting pupils with complex SEND needs, several of whom are diagnosed as autistic and have EHCPs which recognise this. They will lead a small team and model exceptional practice, under the direction of class teachers and the SENCo. We are currently adapting our provision to take account of the changing cohort of children in our school and we are looking for a specialist to help us with this. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of working with children who have communication and interaction needs and would suit someone who would enjoy the opportunity to support the senior leadership team in developing appropriate provision.
