Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to drive the growth of our Micro & Modular data centre solutions and maintenance services. The successful candidate will develop and execute sales strategies across UK and International markets, working both directly with end clients and through consultants and channel partners. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a rapidly evolving industry at the forefront of digital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for micro and modular data centre solutions and maintenance services
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with both direct clients, consultants and channel partners
3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities across UK and International markets
4. Create compelling proposals and deliver persuasive presentations to prospective clients
5. Negotiate contracts and close sales to maximise revenue and profitability
6. Collaborate with STULZ technical teams to develop tailored solutions that address client requirements
7. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
8. Maintain accurate sales forecasts and activity reports
9. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities
10. Work closely with marketing to develop effective sales material and campaigns
Required Qualifications
1. Proven track record in B2B technical sales, preferably within the data centre or related industries
2. Knowledge of data centre infrastructure including cooling, power, rack systems, security, and fire systems (or equivalent automated systems)
3. Experience in both direct sales and channel partner management
4. Understanding of modular/micro data centre solutions and maintenance services
5. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
6. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities
7. Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
8. Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
Desired Skills
1. Experience selling complex technical solutions with long sales cycles
2. Knowledge of International markets and business practises
3. Understanding of data centre standards and compliance requirements
4. Ability to build strong relationships with Senior decision makers
