Page Personnel are working with a very successful, industry leading business. Due to growth within the team they are looking for a Finance Assistant to join them at an exciting time.
Job Description
Finance Assistant responsibilities include:
* To support and maintain the Purchase Ledger for the accounts department
* Process expenses/VAT expenses
* Bank reconciliations
* Manage a portion of credit control & perform credit checks
* Calculation of stock unit costs
* Making payments/preparing weekly Payment runs
* Assisting with month-end
* Processing of invoices/credits
* Ad-hoc duties as required
The Successful Applicant
The candidate will have:
* Prior experience in a similar Finance role - Required
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Required
* Strong working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
* Previous SAGE experience - Desirable
* Ability to work well alone or as part of a team - Required
* Studying towards AAT qualification - Desirable
* High attention to detail and levels of accuracy - Required
