Ferrovial Construction is seeking a Graduate Quality Engineer for 2024 at Chipping Warden. Ferrovial is a leading multinational engineering and construction company based in the UK, with a focus on sustainable and innovative infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland.
The role involves supporting the Quality Management team on major infrastructure projects, assisting in quality documentation, monitoring compliance, and promoting best practices. The graduate program is a 3-year development scheme designed to enhance technical, professional, and personal skills, with opportunities for international mobility and progression towards chartered status.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting in writing and reviewing quality documentation such as Quality Management Plans and Inspection & Test Plans.
* Supporting communication strategies to ensure understanding of quality plans among staff and subcontractors.
* Monitoring compliance with design drawings, standards, and regulations on site.
* Contributing to reports, investigations, and audits related to quality.
* Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus.
Candidate requirements:
* Degree or Masters in any discipline, with excellent communication skills in English.
* Motivated, proactive, and a team player with problem-solving abilities.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and technical knowledge in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering.
* Desirable: Knowledge of health and safety legislation, quality experience, CSCS card.
