Are you an experienced Payroll Officer looking for your next challenge? We are looking for a Payroll Officer to join a privately owned healthcare group based in Salisbury who provide healthcare services across the UK specialising in the management of cardiovascular disease. In your new role as the Payroll Officer, you will provide comprehensive payroll administration support to both substantive and bank staff by processing a monthly payroll.
This is an office-based role, working 9 am - 5 pm although some flexibility can be offered. You will also be offered a range of benefits which include company pension, staff discount, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, and sick pay.
As the Payroll Officer, you will:
1. Liaise with HR on any changes and updates, including processing new starters and leavers, adding or deleting from SAGE payroll system.
2. Calculate and process all statutory payroll deductions, including PAYE, Employer and Employee NICs, and ensure these are included in any final payroll calculations and applied as required.
3. Collate weekly and monthly bank staff timesheets, checking any anomalies or issues requiring clarity with Clinic Managers to ensure bank staff are paid in a timely manner as part of monthly payroll procedures.
4. Collate all P11D and P60 reporting, ensuring the resulting documents are supplied or made accessible to individuals in a timely manner via online SAGE portal.
5. Produce routine and ad hoc payroll reports for Head of Finance and HR Manager on payroll elements applied for management information.
