Our client, a Tier one contractor, is looking for a Group Quantity Surveyor in their office outside Sevenoaks just off the M26, working on D&B, Aggregates, Infrastructure, Utilities, and highways projects. This opportunity will compensate the most successful candidate with a friendly team environment, flexible hours, life insurance, and a salary up to £70,000 for the right candidate. The Quantity Surveyor will be involved in tendering, cost planning, measurement, valuation, contract administration, final accounts, and maximizing the group's contracts.

Quantity Surveyor Job Overview
* Work across all the group's projects
* Preparation of bills of quantities, tender documentation, and contract documents.
* Measurement and valuation of works including cost analysis and cost planning.
* Contract administration, including variations, claims, and negotiations.
* Preparation of interim and final accounts.
* Preparation and presentation of cost reports to senior management.
* Evaluation of tender submissions and preparation of tender reports.
* Preparation of budget estimates and cost plans.
* Preparation and submission of progress payment applications.
Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field would be ideal.
* 10 years' + experience in civil engineering/utilities/construction as a quantity surveyor.
* Excellent knowledge of civil engineering contracts.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cost estimating software.
* UK Driving Licence
