We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager of Retail Contract Hire (RCH) to lead and grow our Retail Contract Hire business. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving sales, improving operational efficiencies, and ensuring outstanding customer outcomes across RCH Finance Sales and Renewals. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior leader with a proven track record of successful stakeholder management and strategic delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Excellence: Improve operational efficiencies within the RCH business, ensuring processes are streamlined and customer experiences are maximised.
* Customer Outcomes: Ensure that the needs of customers are met through effective RCH finance sales and renewals, aiming for high levels of satisfaction and retention.
* Stakeholder Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including the VWFS Board of Management (BoM), Volkswagen Group (VWG), Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and our Dealer Network - ensuring alignment on business goals and performance expectations.
* Sales Leadership & Growth: Drive sales performance in the Retail Contract Hire sector, identifying and capitalising on growth opportunities. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share.
* Strategic Leadership: Act as a key contributor to the overall strategic direction of VWFS UK Ltd, working closely with senior leadership to deliver long-term value and growth.
* Team Development: Lead and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Who are we looking for?
* Comprehensive understanding of contemporary automotive and captive Financial Services.
* Significant sales-based experience within Financial Services / Vehicle leasing sectors.
* High degree of understanding of key operational compliance aspects.
* Detailed understanding of automotive financial services products and distribution including the customer journey.
* Excellent collaborator and team player, able to interact cross-functionally at different levels within the organisation.
* Strategic, analytical and a commercial thinker.
* Confidence in analysing all information to form a product vision, and ability to lead its development.
* Talented in bringing opportunities to life and storytelling to excite key stakeholders and team; using strong written and oral communication skills to present complex data and arguments in clear and compelling manner.
* Continuously looking to deliver exceptional customer experience and customer value.
* Progressive and developmental mindset, prepared to challenge thinking of self and others to deliver a significant shift in the Contract Hire capability of VWFS UK.
