We are looking for a Water Field Technician who would like to help us reach our mission “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.
You will primarily be covering areas such as Cambridge, Peterborough, St Neots, Saffron Walden, Thetford, and March. Travel to other areas may be required at times to meet the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct routine maintenance and inspections
* Liaise with office-based teams to address issues and incidents as they arise
* Oversee work schedules and inventory to ensure works can be completed within given timeframes
* Ensure that all assets comply with the technical and regulatory standards
* Respond to customer queries, meter exchanges and crossed meters
* Respond to incidents and isolate problems where possible
* Provide reports on works carried out to ensure they are in line with agreed SLA’s
About You
* Full UK driving license
* SHEA Water / CSCS or equivalent is desirable
* Experience of operating valves, washouts, and fire hydrants
* Experience in taking pressure and flows internal and external, as well as leak detection and network auditing
* Experience of working on water mains networks with an understanding of network drawings and schematics
* Knowledge of Microsoft IT
* Excellent communication skills when dealing with office, team, and customer interactions
* Proactive attitude with high attention to detail
