This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, independent primary school local to you, specifically designed for children with communication difficulties, often related to Autism spectrum conditions. The school is warm, welcoming, and currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to join the team ASAP, following the retirement of a beloved staff member after 25 years.
Though this school may be small, it offers outstanding facilities, including an on-site kitchen, a fully equipped music room, a lovely outdoor space with a trim trail, and an on-site Forest School. The school supports over 60 pupils aged 4 to 11, providing personalized, 1:1 education that makes a real difference in their lives. 8. Experience (voluntary or paid) working with children and young adults
9. GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
10. Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities:
11. Supporting in the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and educational activities
12. Supporting learners with SEN on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
This role is open to receiving applications over the next two weeks. Within a week of the closing date, appropriate applicants will begin a three-stage interview process, after which shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the final stage of the interview process with appropriate school leadership.
