In this Senior Buyer role, you'll develop sourcing strategies for indirect procurement categories, conduct market analysis, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Develop and implement sourcing strategies for generalist indirect procurement categories including FM, Logistics, Fleet etc.
o Conduct market analysis to identify trends, pricing, and potential suppliers, ensuring competitive advantage.
o Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and risk management.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align procurement strategies accordingly.
o Monitor supplier performance, manage relationships, and resolve any issues to ensure service excellence.
o Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, savings achieved, and market insights to senior management.
o Support the Head of Indirect Procurement on deployment of strategies for the business
o Ensure effective implementation and compliance with new procurement processes, including systems such as Coupa
* Your Profile:
o Proven experience in a similar procurement role
o Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
o Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and market research.
o Relevant procurement qualifications (e.g., CIPS) are advantageous.
