Over the course of four years, this will involve a combination of college studies and workplace assessments within our manufacturing environment.\n\nâ¢\tYou will learn to manufacture printed circuit boards from start to finish across a range of manufacturing processes, ensuring the required standards of quality are met.\nâ¢\tHow to work to strict safety and quality requirements, help to achieve daily production requirements in terms of quality and quantity, optimizing efficiency and \n maintaining operational excellence.\nâ¢\tAbility to look at optimising in-house equipment and processes to gain maximum productivity.\nâ¢\tStudy and learn about engineering data and documentation, and how we utilise it. \nâ¢\tFocus on quality and internal efficiency efforts to improve cycle times and reduce defects. \nâ¢\tHow to coordinate with Colleagues to determine product specifications and design changes. \nâ¢\tMaintain time and attendance to company standards.\n Candidates should be enthusiastic with a natural interest and aptitude for electrical/mechanical engineering. Hold a minimum of four National 5s to include English and Maths (or Equivalent, i.e. GCSEs) at level C or above, such as Product Design, Science or Tech Studies and/or a relevant NC qualification. Excellent communication and IT skills, combined with the ability to use your own initiative and a strong drive to succeed, are all essential.
