About the role of a FM Manager
We have an opportunity for a FM Manager to work with the UKs leading FM provider. Our client would be looking for someone that can hit the ground running and get stuck in. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and a good understanding of hard services. There is one site in Nottingham you will cover which is a commercial property.
Responsibilities for the FM Manager
* Ensure the fabric of the building both externally and internally is maintained and serviced to a high standard in accordance with the management contract and agreed budgets.
* You will be responsible for the health and safety compliance onsite, including that of third-party services providers and maintenance records.
* Work alongside contractors and represent the company
* Keep aligned with budgets
* To compile and maintain all required management information/records relating to company, health and safety and other related records.
* Maintain and grow current and future client realtionships
* To proactively manage risk and deal with insurance issues on site
* To manage major work programmes on site, acting as the liaison point for all parties involved
* Create management reports in accordance with the needs of the business.
* To monitor FM works onsite and liaise with service providers/sub-contractors.
Requirements for FM Manager
* Educated to degree level or equivalent
* Previous facilities management experience. This includes Line Management responsibility for Company personnel and contractors and management service agreements as applicable.
* High degree and knowledge reference of Health and Safety legislation, environmental protection requirements and ideally IOSH or NEBOSH qualified
