Deputy Lead Recycling Advisor - Kings Lynn
£12.41 per hour
Full UK driving licence required
Work pattern after 1st of June: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday working. Wednesday, Saturday rest days.
Norse Environmental Waste Services (NEWS) are the waste and refuse management function for Norse Group, providing a full collection service across the local region.
As we continue to deliver our frontline waste and recycling services across East Anglia, we are looking to recruit a Deputy Lead Advisor for our centre in Kings Lynn.
This position is being offered on a full-time, permanent contract working 35 hours per week.
The role
In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations of the centre run smoothly and efficiently. This is a public-facing role where you will be engaging with members of the public while delivering services, helping to advise on disposal of waste and ensuring the site is always safe and tidy.
Our ideal candidate
While previous experience in a similar waste collection or disposal role would be ideal, we are happy to offer full training to the right person, as long as you can demonstrate:
1. Ability to follow instructions and communicate at all levels
2. Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
3. Knowledge of waste recycling
4. Experience dealing with the general public
5. Full UK driving licence required
6. Must hold or be willing to achieve WAMITAB level 4
