About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Fully Qualified Computer Science Teacher for a well-established secondary school in Denton. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position, giving you the opportunity to prove yourself in a supportive school environment before securing a permanent role.
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer science and the ability to inspire students to develop their skills in this rapidly evolving subject.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality lessons in Computer Science in line with the National Curriculum
Assessing and monitoring students' progress, providing constructive feedback
Creating and maintaining a positive learning environment
Managing classroom behaviour and promoting student engagement
Collaborating with other staff members and the school leadership team
Keeping up to date with developments in the field of Computer Science education
Supporting students’ progress both inside and outside the classroom
Requirements:
Fully Qualified Computer Science Teacher with UK QTS
Previous experience teaching Computer Science in a UK secondary school (Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4)
Strong classroom management skills
Passionate about teaching and inspiring students in the field of Computer Science
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Enhanced DBS check (Teaching Personnel can assist if needed)
