Part-Time Personal Assistant
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a 25 year old lady living in the Sully area I reside with my mum and her partner, when at home I use my IPad, phone and I recently watched the film wicked which I enjoyed.
I have been diagnosed with autism and I have a few health conditions which affect my health and wellbeing. I have a slipped disc and nerve damage, asthma, PoTS, epileptic seizures and diabetes
I also have allergies which anyone coming into the home will have to be aware of for my safety epi pen training and epilepsy training will be required.
I have two roles available, one personal care, and one social role working alongside another PA. Please see hours of work for more information and specify which role you’d like to apply for
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To support and assist in the home and out in the community.
RATE(S) OF PAY
£13.00 per hour
HOURS OF WORK
Role 1 – Personal Care (female only) 4.5 hours per week to be worked over 3 days
Role 2 – social, 8.75 hours per week, flexible, you will be working alongside another PA on a 2:1 basis
TASKS CAN INCLUDE
Personal care required in the mornings to get my day started.
When showering me an apron would be recommended as the water is fast flowing.
Face mask is required due to my health conditions.
Take me to planned appointments.
To go food shopping to M&S and Tesco.
To go for a Matcha iced latte.
Going to places where a wheelchair can be provided.
Assisting with shaving my face.
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
Female required (personal care role)
A patient and kind person.
Someone who is chatty and bubbly.
Non - smoker required.
When showering me an apron would be recommended as the water is fast flowing.
Face mask is required due to my health conditions.
Someone who is respectful to my needs and maintains my dignity.
A car driver with own transport and business car insurance would be required.
ABOUT THE JOB
This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.
All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.
Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period.
Wages will be paid on a four-weekly / monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
