Job Description:
We are looking for someone to join us in making a real difference for young people in our Camden Youth Centre, The Hive!
The Hive is a leading youth support service, offering holistic mental health and wellbeing support to 16-24 year olds. We are looking for a passionate Youth Outreach & Engagement Coordinator to lead an exciting new outreach initiative, engaging marginalised young people and breaking down barriers to accessing support.
About the Role
* Develop and deliver outreach initiatives to engage young people in high-risk or hard-to-reach communities.
* Build partnerships with schools, youth groups, and local organisations.
* Run workshops, focus groups, and assemblies to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing services.
* Support young people in accessing The Hive’s services, including sexual health, employment programmes, and social prescribing.
* Monitor impact, track referrals, and report outcomes.
Qualifications
Experience in youth work, outreach, or community engagement.
Knowledge of challenges facing young people, particularly those from marginalised communities.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
Ability to deliver workshops and outreach sessions in diverse settings.
Organised, proactive, and committed to supporting young people’s wellbeing.
Desirable: A qualification in Youth Work, Social Work, or a related field.

Contract: Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.
Hours & work pattern: Part time, 22.2 hours per week (3 days per week)
Salary: £21,150 pro rata, £34,780 FTE.
Location: The Hive Camden. 18 Harben Parade, South Hampstead, London NW3 6JP
