Key Responsibilities Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute a sales strategy to expand Trade Tech’s presence in the UK, focusing on road and rail freight ICS2 ENS solutions. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify, engage, and build relationships with freight forwarders, logistics providers, and road and rail operators to establish Trade Tech as the leading solution provider. Market Development: Drive adoption of Trade Tech’s ICS2 ENS solutions within the UK’s road and rail freight industries, leveraging market insights to identify growth opportunities. Industry Representation: Represent Trade Tech at industry events, trade shows, and forums to enhance brand visibility and build a strong network. Collaborative Execution: Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer success, to ensure client satisfaction and provide valuable market feedback. Sales Performance: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets through effective pipeline management, lead conversion, and strategic account development. Key Requirements Industry Expertise: Proven experience in road and rail freight services and interest or ability in selling software solutions to the road and rail freight sectors, with a strong understanding of logistics and Customs compliance. ICS2 ENS Knowledge: Familiarity with ICS2 ENS regulations and their application in road and rail freight operations is highly desirable. Market Understanding: Strong knowledge of the UK logistics landscape, including key players and industry trends. Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to develop pipelines, close deals, and manage client relationships effectively. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including compliance heads and IT leaders.
