Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant
- Location: Okehampton and surrounding areas
- Contract: Full-Time
- Pay: £95 per day
- Hours: 08:30 am to 15:30 pm
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school in Okehampton that places kindness, respect, and inclusivity at the heart of its ethos.

Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and classroom support to children with SEN.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider teaching team.
- Adapt to the varying needs of pupils and demonstrate patience and flexibility.
Requirements
- Experience supporting children with SEN in 1:1 or group settings.
- A passion for helping SEN children reach their potential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Commitment to a full-time position.
- A valid driving licence (essential).
- While experience in education is desirable, candidates from a support work background are encouraged to apply as many skills are transferable.
