I-Pharm consulting are supporting a true global leader in the healthcare/medical device market with a newly created position within it's Environmental Health and Safety function. This newly created position will take the lead on the implementation of Environmental and Sustainability strategies for the site (which consists of warehousing operations, office based employees and field based technical maintenance staff). With a hybrid working model, the SHE Manager will be required to be on site in West Sussex 1-2 days per week.
Working closely with the existing group Team Leader, this role will ensure that the site is practising and prioritises environmental sustainability and comprehensive reporting. Implementing and maintaining effective safety protocols
Fostering a culture of environmental awareness and compliance
Minimising the environmental impact of the company operations
Manage the Environmental and Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001 and 14001)
Monitor and review the SHE policy and practice - ensuring compliance with ISO standards
Drive initiatives (environmental)
Manage the statutory environmental reporting to comply with Environmental regulations such as weee, EPA and SECR Report

Experience in SEH roles, preferably within the medical or healthcare industry
In-depth knowledge of HSE legislative frameworks across EU and UK
Environment Management Certification essential - eg NEBOSH, IEMA
Accreditation by an approved Environmental association (eg IEMA) is preferred
