About the Role:
Due to internal promotion, we are recruiting for a part time Supplies and PPE Technician to join our Supplies Team based in Wiltshire. This is a varied and interesting role where you would act as a first point of contact for the Supplies Warehouse at Trowbridge Fire Station, including taking in deliveries, overseeing stock storage and checks, maintaining accurate records, and providing a sizing service for uniform and PPE.
This role requires excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. You will meet new recruits for the sizing service and communicate with suppliers and internal employees daily.
Other Information:
* You must be able to fulfil all essential requirements of the role as listed on the Person Specification.
* You must have a full current driving licence and be able to fulfil the travel requirements of the role.
* The role involves some evening and weekend working.
* A Standard Disclosure & Barring Service Check (DBS) clearance will be undertaken prior to offer of employment.
* Any offer of employment will be subject to full pre-employment checks.
* Upon appointment, you will be required to adhere to the requirements of a Health Surveillance Programme.
