As one of the UK’s leading businesses within education, our client is seeking a talented and motivated Business Development Executive to join their team. You will play a critical role in the success of the customer engagement function, responsible for driving customer growth and increasing awareness of the company.
Responsibilities:
1. Identifying and nurturing all new business opportunities from incoming enquiries.
2. Achieving monthly targets for revenue, margin, conversion, and product uptake.
3. Managing and converting email enquiries.
4. Identifying prospects with immediate requirements.
5. Supporting follow-up activities of the business.
6. Providing advice and guidance to key stakeholders.
7. Building close relationships with key decision-makers to increase customer loyalty and market share.
Qualifications:
1. Experience in internal or external sales and business generation.
2. Excellent customer service and people skills.
3. Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in written communications.
5. Strong time management skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks.
6. Ability to be responsive to a fast-changing environment.
This role offers a salary of £24K, an achievable monthly commission scheme, full training, mentoring, and development opportunities, with the chance for career progression within a fast-growing organisation.
Normal office hours Monday - Friday, office based.
