My client is a leading social and influencer creative agency, a dynamic, culture-driven agency at the forefront of Gen Z content and digital innovation. Our client’s goal is to create engaging, forward-thinking content that resonates across the likes of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and beyond.
Role Overview :
As Creative Director you will lead the charge in conceptualizing, producing, and executing innovative, on-trend content that is native to social and is anchored into the world of Gen Z Social trends and topics. You will be creatively agile, able to identify niche cultural trends and distill them into work from ideation to execution, including art direction, shooting, and editing, ensuring the creative work is culturally relevant and impactful. This role requires a deep understanding of emerging trends and influencer dynamics, alongside a strategic approach to building social media presence and engagement as well as shooting and production techniques to get great results for clients.
Responsibilities :
* Develop and execute social media content strategies that are innovative, trend-forward, and culturally relevant.
* Lead end-to-end content creation: ideate, script, shoot, and art direction of custom original content for brands.
* Experience developing ideas featuring influencers and collaborating with influencers to develop shoot concepts
* Analyze social media metrics to refine content strategies and drive engagement and embed learnings into future creative work.
* Keep close to emerging trends, platform shifts, and viral moments.
* Closely partner and collaborate with project management and production teams to drive quality control work in accordance with agreed timelines
* Attend pitches to accompany the commercial and strategy teams to be able to articulate and pitch concepts and get client buy-in on ideas
Requirements :
* 7+ years in social media content creation environment, with proven expertise in digital storytelling for brands and influencer marketing in an agency or social first publisher environment
* Detailed technical knowledge of storytelling on TikTok, IG, YouTube, Snap, etc
* A lateral thinker, a creative visionary who can dream up original ideas capturing the cultural zeitgeist
* Strong storytelling knowledge of social media platforms, particularly TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, and how to create short and long-form content that drives engagement
* Agile, proactive, and able to balance creative vision with strategic insights.
* A collaborative team player with a passion for cultural trends and innovation.
* Good at presenting concepts and ideas to clients and internal teams to gain buy-in on concepts
