Building Fabric Engineer | Reactive Works | Commercial Environments | £38-40K Base | £50K - 60K OTE | Van + Employment Package | Weekly Pay.\n\nDue to an increase in contract demand, we are actively recruiting for a Reactive Works / Building Fabric Engineer to work on a reactive basis, attending maintenance issues across all building fabric disciplines within commercial environments.\n\nWorks may include;\n\n * Carpentry: Basic woodwork, door repairs, wall repairs, shaving down doors, door closing systems, fixtures and fittings, plaster boarding, making safe of areas, ceiling tiles etc.\n\n * Plumbing: Taps, washers, flusher, internal blockages, leak detection etc.\n\n * Patch roof repairs\n\n * Patch tiling - walls / floors.\n\n * Pump repairs / replacements.\n\n * Lamps / ballasts.\n\n * Painting and decorating.\n\nFurther duties will include:\n\n * Driving the company van in a professional / sensible manor.\n\n * Collecting parts / materials and keeping van stock up to date (paid for by the company).\n\n * Providing detailed remedial reports of works.\n\n * Use of company and client CAFM systems.\n\n * Working to company/ industry standards health and safety / compliance standards.\n\n * Carrying out between 4-8 reactive jobs per day (location dependant).\n\nEmployment Package:\n\n * Role: Reactive Works - Building Fabric Engineer\n\n * £38,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary per annum.\n\n * Expected annual earnings: £50,000 - £60,000.\n\n * Location: Within maximum 50 mile radius of home address, ie: West London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire etc.\n\n * Permanent, PAYE position, Paid Weekly.\n\n * Paid Overtime: X1.5 rate until Midnight, X2 rate overnight or anytime Sundays & Bank Holidays.\n\n * Call out rota: 1 in 4 weeks: £80 per call out + overtime rates after 1st hour on-site.\n\n * Provided: Company van, fuel card, pension, phone etc.\n\n * Holidays: 29 days including bank holidays.\n\n * Weekly pay schedule: 1 week in hand.\n\nCandidate Profile:\n\n * City and Guilds or NVQ (or equivalent) in a relevant trade discipline if preferable or "time served" applications also acceptable.\n\n * Experience in a reactive maintenance role is highly preferable.\n\n * Experience working in commercial environments is highly preferable.\n\n * Must have a strong skill set in all round "building fabric" disciplines, similar to those listed above under "works may include" (plumbing, carpentry etc).\n\n * Must have a UK driving license with under 9 points.\n\nIf you are a Building Fabric Engineer and would be interested in discussing this role further, then please submit a full CV
