The post holder will be the senior lead across three areas: Estates and Facilities Development of long-term strategies for our estate, to support the organisation to implement and achieve its strategic priorities. This will include work to ensure the premises across Wales are benefiting from the latest technology available, and staff are safe and are supported to work how they work best. Operational management of the Public Health Wales estate across Wales. This includes responsibility for professional leadership of Screening facilities and shared premises. IT Operations Management of the IT operational staff (Service Desk, Desktop and Devices and Infrastructure Engineering teams) Development of strategies to modernise IT equipment and networking infrastructure, ensuring the organisation remains safe and has business continuity plans in place. Procurement of IT equipment in line with our Capital programme Health and Safety Lead on Health and Safety for Public Health Wales, professionally leading with Health and Safety Managers across the organisation.
