Role Overview:
KPMG UK seeks a Senior GenAI Engineer to join our Data & AI team. In this role, you will contribute to developing and deploying generative AI models, support client project delivery, and work collaboratively to drive impactful AI solutions. You will design AI systems, manage teams, and ensure effective AI model integration into client environments, adhering to data governance and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* AI Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement generative AI models to solve client challenges. Collaborate with senior AI engineers and data scientists. Create PoCs, MVPs, and full AI projects that deliver business impact.
* Client Project Delivery & Team Management: Support AI solution delivery, ensure successful outcomes, and manage/mentor AI engineers and data scientists. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
* Coding & Implementation: Develop and optimize AI models, ensuring high-quality, production-ready code. Use tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Databricks, Snowflake. Manage model deployment and CI/CD processes.
* Data Management & Integration: Work with data engineering teams to ensure smooth data flow and management. Maintain data quality and security, following governance policies.
* Business Development & Practice Building: Identify AI opportunities, support proposals, and demos. Contribute to expanding KPMG's AI practice with innovative solutions.
* Ethical and Secure AI deployment: Ensure AI models comply with data governance and industry regulations. Promote best practices in data privacy, security, and ethical AI. Develop guidelines for secure data handling.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields preferred but not mandatory. Relevant experience and certifications in AI/ML are advantageous.

* Work Experience: 5+ years in AI/ML, especially with generative AI solutions. Experience with LLMs like GPT, BERT. Proficiency in frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.
* Skills: Expertise in designing and coding generative AI models, prompt engineering, AI algorithms, deployment, version control, Docker, data engineering tools, and team leadership.
