Location: Buckinghamshire (Hybrid, 1-2 days in the office per week)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

The Role:
As an Analysis & Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of advanced propulsion systems. Your primary focus will be structural and thermal analysis using ANSYS, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. While the role is analysis-driven, you will also provide occasional support on design work using CATIA, helping to refine and develop mechanical components.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 1-2 days in the Buckinghamshire office per week. If you prefer to be in the office more frequently, you are welcome to do so.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct FEA simulations (structural and thermal) using ANSYS to optimize component performance.
* Analyze stress, fatigue, and thermal properties to ensure structural integrity.
* Support the design team with CATIA-based mechanical design tasks as needed.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analysis findings into product development.
* Assist in developing and validating test plans to correlate simulations with real-world performance.
* Provide technical documentation and reports based on analysis findings.
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong experience with FEA analysis using ANSYS.
* Some exposure to CATIA for design work.
* Understanding of materials, stress analysis, and thermal dynamics.
* Ability to interpret and present analysis results clearly.
* Experience in aerospace, automotive, or a similar high-performance engineering industry is beneficial.
