I am recruiting for an Accounts Assistant/Administrator to join a well-established, industry-leading manufacturer. They focus on making sure their employees thrive and succeed within their position.
The role is paying £24,000 - £26,000, 40 hours a week, 28 days holiday, permanent position.
Location of the Accounts Assistant/Administrator position: Bradford
The Accounts Assistant/Administrator is a support role that would involve a 50/50 split with the accounts and HR team. The HR element of the role is more supportive, involving organisation and administrative tasks, for which the company will provide training.
Accounts Assistant/Administrator Duties:
1. Processing and costing of suppliers' invoices, reconciling supplier statements to the purchase ledger.
2. Dealing with suppliers.
3. Costing of time sheets.
4. Chasing payments from suppliers.
5. Maintaining petty cash records.
6. Reconciling company credit card expenses.
7. HR admin duties, preparing starter packs, assisting with onboarding, keeping track of training records of staff, and assisting with induction training of new starters.
Accounts Assistant Personal Specification:
1. Team player that can work well with others.
2. Computer literate and proficient with packages such as Word and Excel.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
4. Good sense of humour.
5. Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently.
6. Previous experience within a manufacturing/engineering environment is desirable.
